The Curious Windows Button on Your Keyboard.

It does so much more than you know!

Okay, that Windows button on your keyboard can do a lot of cool things!   Here is a snapshot from Wikipedia about its’ functions in Windows 10.

The one we are going to talk about today is the highlighted one in the above picture.  You can easily move files or copy and paste from documents by having two windows open on your screen at the same time!

This comes in handy when you are moving files from one folder to another.   So you have one folder open but you want to move its’ contents to another folder.  Open the folder you want to move the contents from.   Then press the Windows button and the left arrow key on your keyboard at the same time.

This will move the window you just opened to the left-hand side of the screen.  As shown below.

Now open the second window that you want to move the files to.   Once it’s open, press the Windows button and the right arrow key.  Now your screen should look like this.
