Did you know you can make a Word document a PDF, and even create some markups on it?
First, open your Word document that you want to make a PDF. Second, pretend this is your Word document (I know it’s a stretch!) LOL! Now head on up to the File menu in the upper far left corner of the Word program toolbar. When you come to print, use the drop-down box to look at ALL your options!
When you come to Microsoft Print to PDF, you can now turn your Word document into a PDF!
Select the Microsoft Print to PDF option. Then select the Print button.
When you go to print your Word document to a PDF, it’s going to ask you to save the document. Find an appropriate place to save it, and name your document. Then you will have to browse back to where you saved it to open the PDF. Make sure your PDF opens up in Adobe DC.
Once you open your document in Adobe DC, look on the right-hand menu. There is a section call Fill and Sign. Select that! Now it will give you the option to do some minimal editing, such as; adding text, checking off boxes and signing the document!
A toolbar will appear above your PDF. If you select the X to checkmark a box. It will bring up an X that you just need to drag and drop to the box! Pretty sweet, huh?
Guess what it gets better, you can SIGN the document!!!!!! See below where there is a sign icon? Select that and it will ask you to type in your name. It will remember you in the future! It creates a signature for you and you can drag and drop it where you need it.
Look at that, my signature was adding to my document!!!! Yay!! Let’s save time, ink and trees everyone!!!!
